SHIPPING, PAYMENT & RETURN POLICIES
 

At Hippie Kolibrie we pride ourselves on having the most competitive prices online for all of our products and we believe that shipping prices should be equally competitive. Please carefully read the shipping information below so you have a clear understanding of our shipping policies and delivery times. For more information please continue to read below.

Shipping costs are determined by your order total.  We do not structure our shipping charges to make a profit. We also do not load our shipping and handling overhead into our prices. We think it's a disadvantage to our customers who order multiple items. Instead, we add a flat handling charge to each order. We then add the UPS calculated shipping charge to your destination. The handling charge and shipping charge are combined under "Shipping" on your order.
Please note that on all Federal holidays our shipping facility is closed.

Note: The above information is a guideline only. Many circumstances that are out of our control, can delay your order, such as weather, holidays, workload, back orders, etc. If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know. In some cases, we may be able to speed up the order processing times and determine the best shipping method, so you get your order when you need it.
  • If you pay for 2nd Day Air and the package doesn't arrive on time, you will need to make a claim with UPS to have your shipping costs refunded; we have no control over the shipping company's and their policy.
  • If for any reason you need your shipping address changed after your order has been shipped, your credit card will be charged a $5.00 address processing fee that we incur from UPS.
Order Processing Time: This is the time from when you place your order until it is ready to ship. We do our best to ship within 2-5 working days after you place your order (weekdays only). Shipments are not made on weekends or holidays. So, if you place an order on Friday afternoon, the earliest possible shipping date is on Monday. Orders with rush shipping are given priority and are shipped first. If an item is on back order you will be notified immediately.
 
Do you ship internationally?   Yes, we do ship  to Australia, Canada, Europe & United Kingdom. We are using USPO Priority International which can take between 1-3 weeks.
 
Drop Ship Items - Due to the nature of some products, some items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. Expedited shipping is usually not available on these products. We always process your order and contact the manufacturer within one business day.  
 
Payment - Questions related to billing and credit cards

What is my billing address? The billing address is the address where you get your credit card statement each month. It is very important that you enter your billing address correctly. If this address does not match the address your credit card company has on file, your order will NOT be process until this information is corrected.

Can I have my order shipped to a different address than the billing address for the credit card? AT YOUR REQUEST, we will ship to an address other than your billing address ONLY if that address is an "approved shipping address" on file with your credit card company.

What cards to you accept? We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover & Pay Pal. We do not charge credit cards until your order ships. If any part of your order is not able to be shipped, we will not charge you for that part of the order until it does.
 
We reserve the right to charge your card for any costs associated with the delivery of a refused package. This includes return transportation and all brokerage costs.
 
We are not responsible for delays in order processing due to declined credit cards and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
RETURN POLICY
 

Hippie Kolibrie, Inc. unconditionally guarantees any of its products as being manufactured without any workmanship defects. We know that you will love what you ordered but in the event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you must notify Hippie Kolibrie by E-mail within 5 business days of receiving the order, at returns@hippiekolibrie.com

Hippie Kolibrie must authorize any product return (prior to the product being returned to us), by issuing a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return address information. The product that has been authorized for return (RAN issued), must be received within 5 business days from the date the RAN was issued together with Proof of Purchase (a copy of the invoice or sales receipt showing the date of purchase).

If these requirements are not met, the product(s) will not be accepted and the RAN will be deemed null and void. You are responsible for the return shipping charges (except in the case of a defective item or a fulfillment error on our part). All returns will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

If you request an exchange: Your exchange must be of the same amount or greater. We will process your new order for the exchanged item(s) within 2-4 business days of receiving your return. We will ship you the replacement item with no additional shipping charge. When the replacement item has shipped, you will be emailed a confirmation with an updated tracking number and your customer account status will be updated. All replacement items will be shipped through USPS.

If you request a refund: When the returned item is received, the value of your returned item, minus 10% restocking fee (not including shipping charges), will be credited back within 10 working days. The credit will be issued to the method of payment used for the original order. You will be notified by email and your customer account status will be updated when your refund has been issued.

NOTE: If you purchased sale merchandise, the unused item(s) may be returned for an exchange or merchandise credit only.

We will not accept returns nor grant refunds for:
  • Items that have been laundered, dirtied, altered or worn cannot be accepted for a refund or exchange. If you attempt to return an altered item, we will send the item back to you as it is without a refund or replacement. ALL ITEMS MUST BE IN MINT CONDITION!
  • All returned items must have the original packaging and have all original tags attached same as it was shipped.
  • A return will not be authorized and a refund will not be issued for a product that has been damaged in transit due to package mishandling by the shipping carrier. You will have to contact the carrier and try to resolve the issue directly with them. We encourage you to use a carrier that provides insurance and/or tracking services as Hippie Kolibrie is not responsible for lost return shipments.
  • All sales are final on discontinued items and custom sized orders

All returns must be authorized via email. Before returning a product, please email us to acquire an authorization number (RAN) at returns@hippiekolibrie.com.
